Shri Raj Kumar, IAS, is a Gujarat Cadre officer of Indian Administrative Services belonging to 1987 batch. He possesses a degree of B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering and Masters in Public Policy. He commands a very vast and varied experience. As an IAS officer, Shri Raj Kumar, IAS, has worked in various capacities covering a very wide spectrum of Government departments, both at State and Central level.
Presently, he is the Chief Secretary to Government of Gujarat. Shri Raj Kumar, IAS, also served as Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Government of Gujarat and Secretary, Department of Defense Production, Ministry of Defense, Govt. of India. He has been Chairman/Managing Director/ Director in many Central & State PSUs, during his tenure in government service.
During his long spanning career, Shri Raj Kumar, IAS, has also participated in various national and international training programs covering a wide range of topics.

Smt. Gauri Kumar, IAS (Retd.)

Smt. Gauri Kumar (DIN: 01585999) is a retired member of the 1979 batch of Indian Administrative Services (IAS). She retired as Secretary (Coordination and Public Grievances), Cabinet Secretariat in 2015 and served as Member/Chairperson of the Public Enterprises Selection Board from 2015-18 post her retirement. In the course of her distinguished career, she has been a former Secretary in the union Ministry of Labour and Employment as well as in the Ministry of Home Affairs (Border Management) (2013-15). She has served as Special/Additional Secretary, Ministry of Mines and Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Ministry of Environment and Forests (2010-13). She has also been Principal Secretary, Urban Development (2009-10); Principal Secretary, Industries & Mines (2008-09), Industries Commissioner (2007-08) and Secretary, Education Department (2000-02) in Government of Gujarat. She also held the position of Director General, National Institute of Fashion and Technology, Ministry of Textiles (2002-07).
Smt. Gauri Kumar holds a degree of BSc in Physics, Mathematics and Statistics from Allahabad University. She completed her MSc in Mathematics from Lucknow University and was awarded seven gold medals in the course of her studies for exceptional academic distinction. She also has a Master in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. As a fellow of the Edward G. Mason Program in Public Policy and Management, she was awarded the Littauer Fellowship by Harvard for commitment to excellence, academic achievement and public service.

Smt. Mamta Verma, IAS (DIN: 01854315) is a Director of the Company since 5th October, 2015. She is MA with Psychology and has done Post Graduation in Physiology. She is a Senior IAS Officer having rich experience in the field of Management & Administration. She has held various distinguished positions in Government of Gujarat such as Collector, District Development Officer, Additional Industries Commissioner, CEO of Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority and Special Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, Director, Municipal Administrator, CEO of Gujarat Urban Development Corporation.
Presently, she is Principal Secretary to Government, Energy & Petrochemicals Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar.
Shri Jagdish Prasad Gupta, IAS

Shri J P Gupta (DIN: 01952821) is a senior IAS Officer, with distinguished academic background of being alumni of Jodhpur University and M. Tech from IIT, New Delhi.
Shri Gupta joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1991. He has wide experience of leading various important Departments like Land Revenue, Urban Development, Transport, Education and Commercial Tax of Government of Gujarat (GoG). He has also served in the State Govt. PSUs like Gujarat Water Infrastructure Limited, Gujarat State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited, Gujarat Medical Services Corporation Limited, Gujarat State Investment Limited, Gujarat Urban Development Company Limited. Presently, he is Principal Secretary, Finance Department, Government of Gujarat (GoG).
In addition to his responsibilities as Principal Secretary (PS), Finance Department (FD), he is Managing Director of Gujarat State Financial Services Limited (GSFS), Chairman of Gujarat Investment Limited (GSIL) and Director on the Board of several other Companies.
Shri Mukesh Puri, IAS

Shri Mukesh Puri (DIN: 03582870) is a lAS officer with 32 years of experience in public administration. He has done Post Graduation in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics and subsequently obtained a Master’s Degree in International Political Economics from the University of Tsukuba, Japan.
He has held several important positions in the State Government and Government of India such as Collector and District Magistrate; Dy. Director, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA); Commissioner of Commercial Taxes; Principal Secretary, Education Department and Water Supply Department, Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Development & Urban Housing Department, Government of Gujarat. Shri Puri has held the position of Managing Director, Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL); and Chairman, Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB).
Shri Puri has also worked with UNICEF for a period of 3 years.
He is presently posted as Additional Chief Secretary-Agriculture, Farmers Welfare & Co-Operation Department, Government of Gujarat.

He has distinguished academic background with Ph.D Economics from Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany; Post-Doctoral Fellow, Department of Economics, SLU UPPSALA, Sweden; Visiting Scholar, Ostrom Workshop, Indiana University, Bloomington, USA; M.Sc. Economics from Madras School of Economics, Chennai and B.A. Economics, University of Delhi. He has a rich Academic and Professional Affiliations with many Institutes/ Universities at National and International Level.
His areas of expertise includes Agriculture, Agri-food, Resource and Climate Management and Energy Conservation, etc.
Prior to joining IIM, he was Forskare (equivalent to Assistant Professor), Department of Economics, SLU UPPSALA, Sweden. He is recipient of Awards from International Institutes/ Business Schools. His has authored many Articles on varied subjects particularly on Agriculture, Energy etc. and the same have been published in leading International Journals/ Magazines. He has attended many renowned Conferences and Workshops at National and International Levels.

Shri Bhadresh Mehta, aged 61 years, (DIN: 02625115) is Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and Cost Accountant by qualification. He holds professionally qualified senior managerial experience with a proven success of over 25 years in steering finance, audit and infotech functions of reputed business groups. His areas of specialization are strategic planning, financial management, auditing, information technology and risk management.
Presently, he serves on the Board of Gujarat Gas and Gujarat State Petronet Limited as an Independent Director.

He has more than 40 years of Advisory, Research and Training as well as Managerial experience in marketing, sales, retailing, service and business strategy for product as well as service companies (B2Cand B2B), in the domains of Retailing and E-Commerce; Luxury and Lifestyle; Healthcare; Decision Sciences and IT. He has been involved in more than 100 advisory and training initiatives in these areas.
He was a Professor of Marketing at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), India. Before IIMA, he taught at IIM Bangalore, Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar and was Dean at MICA. He has published articles in International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Research, Journal of Brand Management, QMR: An International Research Journal; FQS: Forum Qualitative Sozialforschung / Forum: Qualitative Social Research [On-line Journal] and Vikalpa. He has served on the editorial board of International Journal of Applied Decision Sciences and was the Resident Editor for AMS Review. He has published several books. He is one of the few resources in qualitative research in the country. He has also served as Director of Gujarat Gas and Rasna.
